AOC Testbed at Digital BRICS Forum Expo 2026

The Advanced Optical Communication (AOC) Testbed participated in the Digital BRICS Forum Expo 2026, held on 20–21 August 2026, showcasing its advancements in next-generation optical communication technologies.

The AOC team demonstrated the Fan-In Fan-Out (FIFO) prototype with Multicore Fiber (MCF) and also showcased a range of prototypes and components, including armoured multicore fiber samples, fiber spools and cable samples, photonic chips, optical power meters, a variable optical attenuator (VOA), and a cross talk meter.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase the AOC Testbed’s indigenous technology development and capabilities in advanced optical communication to a wider audience.
