OPTIQ 2025: A Platform for Opportunities in Photonics

The International School of Photonics, CUSAT, Cochin organized OPTIQ 2025, an international conference on advances in photonics and quantum technologies, from 26–28 November 2025.

As part of the event, a Pre-Conference Workshop on Optical Communication was held on 25 November, organized by Prof. Deepa on behalf of the AOC Testbed Project.

A Job Fair was also conducted on the same day, where companies and research organizations in the optical domain offered internships, job roles, and research opportunities. With participation from many BTech, MTech, and PhD students, it served as an excellent platform for attracting emerging talent in photonics.
