Facilities @ IITD
IIT Delhi, led by Prof. Amol Chaudhary and Prof. Abhishek Dixit, is establishing a testbed for Fully Hybrid Optical Communications, LiFi, and FSO. This facility will enable experimental validation of advanced optical systems and modulation techniques, focusing on high-precision wireless optical communication. By incorporating LiFi and FSO, it aims to overcome limitations of traditional wireless networks, offering fast, secure, and high-capacity solutions. Supported by the DoT, the testbed will advance India's capabilities in optical communication technologies and drive innovation in both research and applications.
